Ballet Bag

I've been feeling particularly guilty lately, sending my Truffle to ballet with her slippers in a bag clearly marked with her older sister's name. I finally finished making her her very own bag. The pattern at tiny happy is so simple, but I think next time I'll use a print on the outside to hide the seams better. On this one, an embroidered flower will have to suffice.

That is beautiful! I think the flower looks lovely, and hides the seam well.

I made the same bag yesterday after I found the pattern from your link :) It turned out very cute, and I hope to get pics up today.

Did you change some of the measurements? Yours seams so much taller than mine. I like how deep yours is though.

Thank you for your kind complements! I did change the measurements to match the bag she'd been carrying around. Sorry for not noting that in post. I'll go make a note.

I'm working on another one right now, but I'm finding it really tricky to get the measurements right with the narrowing at the top. For some reason, it's eluding me. I'll have to work on it more later.

I did find some great fabrics today, so I'll hopefully get those posted really soon. The buttons were almost as much fun as finding the fabrics :D
