Textbooks used to be quite lovely. Just look at this 1933 science text.
I picked this up, along with several other vintage textbooks, including Arithmetic for Billy Goats, at the library book sale last weekend. Even the end papers are breathtaking...
The idea on page 21 was too appealing to pass up.
So now we have an Autumn Sand Table in the front hall.
