A Case for Sewing

Make that a 'train case'. This vintage turquoise train case (with its tray intact!) was simply singing for me to bring it home from the thrift shop last week. The Wonderbug is six, and her sewing projects began overflowing their old wooden cigar box long ago. So this case is just right for her. The sticker inside the lid says "... Somebody Loves You", which I love. It came with the case, of course, which is fragrant with Coty face powder, even after a cleaning. I love that smell. It reminds me of my Nana's vanity. And the cigar box? It is now the Tiny Truffle's sewing box. She is just three, after all.
