Dears (known as Grams to my nieces and nephews... the Wonderbug named her Dears after hearing Grampsies sweetly saying "Yes, Dear" to all of her requests)... Anyway, Dears made the girls handkerchief dolls based on the ones she saw on a visit to Laura Ingalls Wilder's home, and the Wonderbug was sure she, too, could do this. So, the Wonderbug received a front porch lesson in making handkerchief dolls from her grandmother during her stay with us.
It was a beautiful afternoon. Grampsies bounced the Babe. The Professor played guitar.
The Truffle read Birds of Texas to us.
And me? I just soaked it all in.
